Congrats on your mod, you're almost there. Assuming you have FTP capabilities, you're almost done. As for dashboards, I recommen AvaL & EvoX...you can put more than one on your system.

Well, at the X3 config live screen, you will need to go into the settings to set your box up to be FTP'd into. If it is directly connected to your PC, use a crossover cable. If it is connected to a router, a regular straight thru cable will work fine.

Just FTP the dashboard you want to be the default first and replace the xbox dash default file with the default xbe of the new dash. You will have to change the new dash's default.xbe name to xboxdash.xbe (I believe) for it to be the one displayed upon boot.

It should be simple, but that's it in a nutshell. Any additional dashboards you want to load should go in the dashboard directory. I can't tell you exactly where that is because I don't know how you set up your xbox's drive. Probably in the apps directory or maybe there is a dashboard folder sittin by itself in the E or C drive.

On the main menu of the dash you are using, you can select dashboard. There should be a list of the dashes you've installed (except for the one you're currently using). Select the dash you want to use and your xbox will do a reboot and load with the newly selected dashboard.
