I just downloaded Simcity 4 from a torrent(http://www.mininova.org/tor/118229), and I've tried playing it but I keep getting this message: I mounted the CD1 CUE file using Daemon Tools. I: right click the icon > Emulation > All options ON > left clicked the icon > clicked "Device 0:" > mounted CD1 CUE file > clicked install > mounted cd2 cue file > then the error message cmae up. Here's what "My Computer" looks like: I really need help. I had this same problem when trying to play Starcraft, but I eventually go frustrated and gave up. Please help me!
have you fully installed the game yet, or is it parly done? because..if its partly done and u properly install the game, then it might be a dodgy torrent file, but if you have succesfully installed it, then double clcik on SIMCITY(G, in your My computer view, and select install or setup, or something of that effect. i installed this very same game a while ago and i installed it and ran it no problem, without burning it to a CD. also if my memory serves me right...did u have create your own .cue file for this to work, coz if so, then u have to create 2 .cue files (for the 2 insatllation CD's) and mount the .cue files (when promted to do so) as the setup progresses! hope this helps!
