ok im baffled , i want to know if theres a way to convert a dcvcd to dvd , ive tried many but everytime i reauthor it it stops half way thru the movie , i know its because the movie was originally two filesmerged together to make the dcvcd , is their a way to author this without that happening ?

Well you Might not be able to Put this File on to DVD without re-encodeing it because I know with KVCD Files you have to re-encode them because KVCD uses something like a 40 frame GOP which isn"t DVD Compliant so if the DCVCD file uses a Large GOP like that then you won"t be able to author it to DVD without re-encodeing it....

yea ive reencoded them to dvd standards , but exactly where the two parts were joined is where it will stop in the middle of the dvd , it plays fine on vcd cd-r discs , just wont do right for a dvd.

An Improper Join can cause this Type of Problem..

Maybe use an mpeg editor Like "Mpeg2VCR" to Cut the File Back in Half and Cut out a few frames of the end of Part 1 and the Beginning of Part 2 and then Join them Back together again and then author the Files to DVD....

Also Mpeg2VCR has a Tool in it that can Fix Improper Joins buy rewriteing the Header and Time Code and It has worked for me in the Past with some Badly Joined Mpeg files I had....

    Worth a Try....
