Ok I know a lot of people have asked the same qeustion(how to bridge xbox to pc using router) and I read all the replies like 5 times and know one really gives an indepth answer to this qeustion. So please if you know how to post a reply in detail, I have a dsl modem and a router and like 5 ethernet cables so I'm ready to go. In your reply please include the setup between ethernet cables and xbox/router/computer. And if you say I need to do something please explain how its done, I have never run a shared connection with anything so I am new to all this. Before anyone asks my comp only has one ethernet port and thats why I need to do it through the router. I know from reading posts on the forum many people are having the same problem so you'll be helping many grateful people out. THanks.
yeah u need 2 ethernet ports in ur pc to bridge connections, a router is only for more pcs and consoles and ur pc does not recieve data from ur other pcs or consoles. get a ethernet port and ill tell u want to do, its easy. if there is a way u can do it throught a router i dnt know.
Thanks, but I'm pretty sure I have seen alot of people on these forums say it can be done with a router.
Yeah, I'm sure you can bridge with a router but I don't know how either ... I would really like to know though. If anybody know please post !!!
