need help with dvd lab pro! Help!

    I started using dvd lab pro to burn avi files to dvd format everything seems to work fine but i noticed that the sound seems to come out at an extremly high volume, thus distorting the quality of the sound. Can anyone tell me how to keep it from auto setting the volume too high?
