I was given a graphix card by a friend and i am having a problem with it. The thing is that it has a connection for power that came straight from his power supply. the card is an ATI Radeon X800. i am not sure what kind it is. if it is pro or what. The connecter has 6 ports. I was wondering if any one has the same card and what kinf of connector would i need to buy?

The connector is a 6-pin PCI-express power connector. You can get adaptors that turn two normal molex connectors into power connectors for it, however, I do NOT RECOMMEND this, as if your power supply is too weak to have PCI express power connectors, it will be too weak to run the card. You are far better off buying a PSU that was designed to run the card. Something like the Corsair VX 450W would do. DO NOT skimp on a power supply.
