I downloaded a movie and when i play it in Divx player everything is fine and the picture is exactly matched up with the audio, but when i try to burn it using nero, and I play it on my dvd player, the sound is ahead of the picture by a couple of seconds. I tried using virtual dub for the first time, but when I tried to open the file i get this message. AVI: Variable bitrate (VBR) Audion detected, VBR audio in VI is non-standard and you may encounter syn errors up to 0ms when attempting to extract WAV files or processing the audio in Direct Stream Copy mod. Full Processing mode is recommended to decompress or recompress the audio. (bitrate:64.0 + 0.0 kbps) does anyone know what i should do now? so i can get this movie converted properly and syncd so i can play on my dvd player. i'm new to this sort of stuff. here is the summary of the file. This problem usually occurs with VBR encoded audio. Use TMPGEnc and you can alter the audio delay during encoding.
