Actually I just purchase a new graphics card (Geforce 6200 OC) by Nvidia. The Install guide says to remove any bios from integrated graphics. I looked at HP.com and my Pavillion a620n has 64 megs of integrated video graphics. HP wants $50.00 to help me out. So I figured I would try here. I hope this is the right forum. Thanks.
not remove but disable the onboard video thru the motherboard's bios. read this link by hp. http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/...tegory&product=424215&dlc=en&docname=buh06273
Would you be so kind to get me through this task. I am not that computer savvy. Any help would be appreciated. Thank.
I don't think you really have to remove them. The important thing is to disable them. I got an X800PRO, had integrated ATI video, and it was disabled automatically once I installed my video card. You can also disable the device manually with Device Manager.
I ended up using the device manager to disable. It was much easier than I expected. The card is now installed. I don't really see any difference at all. I don't game on the PC, but I thought it would help out my tuner card picture. Any suggestions???
