need help with ipod

    i wanted to use firewire to transfer songs but it wont pick up the ipod. does ipod not support transfers through firewire?

    Well it should be working then. Has the iPod ever mounted at all on your computer, or is it a sudden thing?

    Hi everyone...God, I hope Lethal B or anyone could help me with this....i have a 30gb ipod video

    First of all, i do know how to put photos on my ipod... but everytime i want to put new photos, te itunes replace my photos stored on the ipod with the new ones that i select...how can i have different folderS?

    My other problem is that my borhter has the exact same ipod and id love to know how can we have different spaces were we can have our different stuff....for example id like to have photos of me and my girl, but i dont think my brother is interested on having that stuff on his iPod

    I just need to know how can I make different folders on iTunes....

    I mean one for my brother with his music and stuff another separate folder for my music

    New iPods do not support use of Firewire to transfer songs. It even says it on the screen I think that you can't use it when you try it. Apple discountinued the support because they decided the chipset was to much of a hassle to include in the iPod. Which really sucks for a lot of Mac users with older computers that don't have usb 2.0 ports. The firewire cable can still be used to charge the iPod though. I don't know if it will charge through the computer but I know it most certaintly does charge when you have the brick adapter.
