I installed a second HD(maxtor)in my pc and i've noticed that it reads and writes very slowly. I've checked my "Device manager controlers" and noticed that there Under device 1 it is running in IPO mode instead of DMA. I've tried uninstalling the driver and reinstalling it but no luck. Anyone know what i can do?

    thanks

There are several ways to check, some with software, another with a flash light!!

What kind of computer do you have? Who makes it?
