I've got Playcenter 2 installed on my PC for over a year now, and untill a month ago it was working just fine. Untill then I had no problems with cd ripping, but now it doesn't read audio cd's (I'm sure my sister has something to do with this...). I've checked the settings and it's not configured to read cda files, all it reads is mp3, wav, wma, etc files, but when I insert an audio cd in my D drive, Playcenter says that there is no audio cd in the drive. I'd apreciate some help on this, cause I'm pretty close to killing my sister!!!!
I've have Creative Play Center 3. With the Play Center window open click on 'settings'. In the pop up window click on 'CD Ripping'. Then click 'auto configure' Play center will set up your D drive. Open the 'Transfer' window ( as if you were going to make a play list to burn) and in 'Disk Maker' you should see the D drive location at the top right corner of the transfer window. When I installed version 3 I had to go to the Sound Blaster website and download a patch file in order for the Creative Player to recognize my D Drive. Occasionally in the past it wouldn't find my drive and I had to download and install this patch file again.
