need help with my old stariew box in Dublin

its been down for 2days now.i reset it automatcally scanned it,gret that worked i got my channels,however its still black,i then turned my EMU key off as i was told 2 do so,now its updating,it has been doing this for about 3 hours now,is it supposed to take this long?is their anything i can do?

 

go to main menu press 1570 turn emu on.then go to nagra vision and put the codes from here http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/523709
into the nagravision.
