I have nero oem 6.3.1.12 on a computer and have been successful in burning a second copy of a dvd that had been previously burned using dvd shrink and nero. I just went to photo/video and then the only option was 'burn dvd-video files' and then i added to the video_ts folder all the files that shrink had saved while encoding(vob etc) and then burned and everything was fine. I just bought a new computer yesterday and it had nero oem 6.3.1.26 loaded on it but when I go to Photo video there are several options (capture video, play video, make your own dvd-video,make or modify dvd+vr,make a photo slide show, recode dvd-video,convert dvd-video movies to nero digital and record tv show) but not burn dvd-video files. Now I am at a loss as to how to burn a second dvd like above. Can anyone help. thanks doug
So there Douge, Do you have the icon for Nero that is "NeroStartSmart" I believe this version has it.I had this same problem. What you want to do is after you make the .iso file with DVD shrink and it's put somewhere on your C:drive all you have to do is double click on the .iso file (backup) of the movie you made. I just doubled clicked on it and the nero burning software appeared. Just make sure when the nero options your burning to the correct drive. Hope this helps! Justin
I am not sure. Both my versions have the start smart icon. When I burn enable the burn with nero option on dvd shrink it seems to make a lot of files like vob, ifo, vub but no iso files. doug
Hm...Well I have an Eric Clapton DVD concert that my cousin burnt for me. I'm doing it right now as i type. I put it in opened dvd shrink and clicked open disk. Then after you mingle with whatever you want the menu's, trailors, ect. you click backup blah blah and then you should get a screen that says "backup dvd" then select backup target. You should get two options one says burn with nero and the other says create an iso image file. That's what i did. After it does its business (encoding) you should be able to double click right on that iso file and nero will open and you can burn it right in there. Let me knwo
