    Hi guys my first post.
I bought a new pioneer dvr 111D, and I installed it. My computer only sees it when I first boot up my computer, but after it has been on for a while, it doesn't show up in my computer. Any help would be appricated!

    Thanks,
    Alex

    Hi,
Pioneer tend to be fussy. Firstly you need to use 80wire40pin ide cable. Secondly this drive likes to be master. If it isn't change to master. Let us know how you get on.

I did what was suggested, now my burner will burn to 100 % but I get an error message. SCSI command aborted, could not complete disc at once. Now my tray won't eject and the busy light stays on.

reboot to get it to eject , make sure your running the lastest firmware on your drive also ,and try burning at a slower speed 4x

Ok got my burner working now, my dvd drive won't work, it's either the dvd drive or the burner. Both won't work.
