    Hi all,

I need some help and information.

    I have a PS2 model(75004). I fitted a MODBO 4 chip.

The Playstation boots up and show Matrix so something must be right, and it can read copyied movies on DVD-R discks, also it reads the origenal PS2 games.

I have tried a few games to back it up, with NERO, DVD Decrypter, and also BlindWrite6.
The PS2 starts up but then go to a screen that shows “Please inset a PlayStation or PlayStation 2 format disk”

What I would like to know is, is the problem my chipping, or my backup prosess. Is there a patch that I must copy to the ISO file to make it readeble for PS2??

    Thanks and regards.

    Late response...

The Power, Ground, Bios points are correct. Check the Disk points.
Check the B, I, G, H (and maybe A, Y, CX) wires and make sure they are wired correctly and what not. PS2 backups could just be copied easily 1:1 with Nero, IMGburn... and that probably is not your problem.
