I recently purchased a hp pavilion 735n,witd dvd/cd burner.Record now was already installed. When i try to make an exact copy, the last song on the disc always starts out first on the burned disc, this lasts for 2minutes,then the first song starts playing, minus the first two minutes. All is well after that.So all the cd's i've burnt are missing the first two minutes. Also when i insert a disc to erase, the tray opens and says to insert a disc, even though i already have.I don't know if these two problems are related.Any help would be greatly appreciated.

How the hell do you "erase" a CD-R? I thought that was impossible.

Have you checked any of the options in Record Now relating to burning audio tracks?

I haven't had any experience with Record Now what so ever, just trying to help....

I do not know about record now. But you can not erase a cd-r.For audio files I use MusicMatch JukeBox and it works fine for me. There may be free downloads for music burning in the audio section here. If there is there are guides explaining how to use them .Explore there. Like I said I am happy with MusicMatch. It cost about $20.00 US at your local electronics store or download at MusicMatch's site. Good luck

    Hey blknrust,
I looked in the audio section here and there are tons of great software for you, including MusicMatch. Just click the software tab at the top of the page and then audio. Hope you find sonething.
