Hi, I have done quite a few films on dvd and most of them have been fine however recently i keep getting some that jump, they play fine on some dvd players but then jump on others. I'm wondering whether its because of the discs im using with my burner! Discs i use are: Datawrite 4x DVD-R My burner/DVD RW : LITE-ON DVDRW SOHW-8325 VERSION 5.1.2600.2180 Im only guessing that its my burner causing the problem but i would really appreciate some advice, Cheers!
I think it's your disc. I also have the same LiteOn. I use Taiyo Yudens which I would recommend. No problems with playback. Do a search on Datawrite and you'll find others who have had problems with them. I have never used them.
I think it's not completely your discs' fault, but the combination of your discs and your player. You said they play fine in other players? But not in yours? And it's not a +R/-R format thing either, just certain players don't like certain dye I think.
