Need help with usb ports

    I need help. I connected an ipod shuffle into one of my usb ports and a pop up keeps telling me that "a usb device is not recognized" and none of my usb ports are working now.

    It seems like the computer is still trying to recognize it even though I pulled the thing out. Is there any way I can reset the usb ports?

    you can delete and then reinstall the USB drivers and see if that helps.

    im having the same problem and i installed them again and still no dice :( I think its because they broke or something. 2/4 are messed up (one will not read anything at all and the other says that it does not recognize the device) *sigh* its depressing...
