Yes...Don"t use Windows Movie Maker as it is Crap ware and is worth less than you Paid for it and since it is Free they should be Paying you to use there Crappy assed Software.....

If you want something that actually work well Invest a Few Bucks and get real editing software as WMM is well Known for being a Buggy Piece of Crap....

Well "Yes" there are Many programs that are Much better but it depends on how much you want to spend on a program as there aren"t really any proper freeware Timeline Editors accept maybe "Adid Free DV" but it is a Bit Buggy also....

You can actually Get a Fairly decent Editing program for about $50 called "MagiX Movie Edit Pro 10" that will accept pretty much any Format and supports Multiple audio and Video Tracks and Has Lots of effects and Transitions and can convert your project to a Number of Formats Includeing Mpeg-2 for DVD and it also has Basic DVD Authoring features so you can export your project to DVD with Menu"s and Chapters....

You can check out it"s Features here:

    http://site.magix.net/english-us/ho...10-clc/functions/?no_cache=1&version=standard

It is actually on sale right now for $39 for the Downloadable E-version and has features that even some other much more expensive programs don"t have....

    Cheers
