can anyone help me with what i would need to set up a wireless network. i have a cable modem that is connected to my pc. is there a way i can have the move the connection to another room upstairs without wires. any help with what i need would be great as i know nothing about this. thanks
I have a PC upstairs and recently bought a laptop. What i did was buy wireless ADSL router which I placed upstairs on its own, I also bought a wireless card for my PC and installed it since the laptop came wireless capable Ididn't have to add anything for it I used XP help to setup the network it wasn't all that hard and it works fine
ok thanks i'll try that it should be ok for the pc any idea's how i could do the same with the ps2 it will be in the same room as the pc
