I hate to ask stupid questions, and going through this forum and others and trying various things, my problem still has not been solved. I am trying to network my xbox direct to my nic via a crossover cable, have installed Flashfxp and am getting nothing. Flashfxp says connecting....connection failed. I had got it to connect once, but then it would fail. can someone walk me through some steps to help me with this most fusterating problem.
PM me. But, you are much better off buying a simple $30 D-Link router and your troubles will be much easier solved.
Well..i am not sure what i did, but it seems that i have solved my own problems. I am pretty sure it was because my nic use to be used for my cable modem and i was having problems resetting it for the xbox, even after switching the ip in the properties. But it seems to work now and i just put on a few games and apps using evox...i cant wait to experiment more now that it works.
