need help wth my xbox

my xbox was working fine and i was looking for how to connect to my xbox via crossover cable and it worked was lookin at the stuff in my xbox through my pc but i accedentilly deleted the file called evoxdash.xbe and now my xbox starts up just like when you first get an original xbox and i tried to copy the evox to a cd-rw and it didnt work these are the steps that i did
1.i made a folder with these files in it 1.EvolutionX Build 3921 ms info file 2.evoxdash.xbe 3.evox (configuration settings) and 300 mb of a dummy file.
2.i used the program qwix to convert it to a .iso file
3.and then i burnt it to a cd rw by (by opening my computer copying the fle to the cd then on the left t says wrte these files to the cd and i clicked on that)
can anyone please tell me what can i do now
