NEED HELP!!!

    Hey guys i just restored my computer and installed a new windows and now i have no sound. When i try to play something its says that there is no audio hardware. I installed thd drivers and it gives me that the device cannot be started 'code 10'. PLz if anybody knows anything let me know.

    this happened to me but, all i did was went in to my control panel sound,speech, and Audio Devices. and i then i went to sound speech and audio, audio then enable sound card.

    do you have a custom built PC, or a store bought one like a Dell or HP? If you have a store bought, check the manufacturer's website for the model number, and you should be able to download the appropriate driver. its also possible that the driver you have is old, so try downloading a newer version. what sound card do you have?
