Need Help

I need to convert my mpeg,avi, etc. into DVD, I was trying to read the post but im getting more and more confused. need help please

 

That task shouldn't be a problem, you can use NeroVisionExpress3 to do this, just drag files into Nero and continue to Burn. Which burning progs do you have?

 

is nerovision express 3 free?? I have Nero 6.0 but for some reason when I try and drag Mpegs over it says that it cant do it. I am getting the latest nero from my cousin today when i get home from work.

 

are you saying that nervison is both a converter and DVD bunerer software or just a converter?

 

You can get NVE3 from Nero website http://www.nero.com download package 2. NVE3 will convert the files ready for burning..its called transcoding...but be patient.

 

OK so DL nero vision express and package 2 will work.

 

Thats all I ever use is NeroVisionExpress3, just go to Make DVD and then drag files over and keep hitting next until you reach Burn, you can do some fancy things along the way such as Headings etc. try it and let us know how you got on, good luck.

 

Can you give me the URL for NeroVision Express 3, ive been all over the nero site and cannot find where to DL the program!!!, do I have to buy it from a store? thanks

one last question! can i convert it on my laptop which does not have the DVD burner or convert it on a external HD first then put on my computer with the DVD-burner!

 

Exactly where are your files ar present, I assumed they were already on your HD

 

They are on an external HD

 

If the files are already on HD then you can now burn them using the Nero prog you downloaded, just open prog, go to make dvd and import files from hd and then burn. Note files do not need to be converted...leave it to Nero

 

Ok hey gwendolin, Im new to converting/burning and so on, I have never burned to a DVD in my life, i thought this was gonna be as easy as music files but I thought wrong. ok I got nero 6.6 on here and it had nero vision express3, but now I am at this step and cant get passed it. I try and put my videos on there but the next button only takes me back to the main menu, ive been playing with this thing for about 2 hours now and no luck. I tried going into nero burning rom but it does not see the files, ive tried to go to other programs on this nero 6 but no luck, so i went back to NVE3 and I dont know what I am doing wrong. Im such a newb and need help! thanks again.

 

Do i need to use DVD shrink? or will this NVE3 do it all, ive been trying to read post on here to find information and I see DVD shrink all the time. I see one post that says that i need to seperate the PAL from the NTSC or something like that, dam im confused and i havent even got started yet! all the help is need thanks in advance

 

Ok i just went to the nero site for support, they only had support for NVE-2 when i was looking at the PDF file I saw on the screen that they had a option for make DVD/make cd/ make movie/make slide-show and so forth. I dont have that option to make a DVD it has everything else except that one, WTF is going here. I mos def need help now. why dont I have that function? i have a lite-on dvd burner 8x. do i need to DL the most recent patch or something? thanks in a advnace

 

OK heres what I do
1. click on Make DVD>>>>>DVD VIDEO



2add video files (here I normally just drag files into window)or click on add video files



3If you dont drag files open from this window



then continue NEXT to Burn stage
