I have Nero 7. I went to Extras then clicked Get System Info to see what my dell Inspiration B130 had. It came up and under Supported read features the first 2 columns were checked except DVD-RAM. But under Supported write features, only CD-R, CD-RW, and Buffer underrun protection were checked. Does this mean I can't burn DVD's and if so what do I need to be able to burn dvd's. My system says CDRW/DVD.

    Hi fcb1012
Yes that's what that means - you can only burn cd's not DVD's.
To burn dvd's you'll need a drive that will also burn dvd's.

Yes you would need to buy another drive that reads/burns to both cd's and dvd's - a dvd writer.
If your Dell came w/ 2 optical drives - check the drop down in Nero Info Tool and see what the specs are on the other one.

Depending on where you are a good one - anywhere from around $30 for a LiteOn or $100 for a Plextor. Both good drives.

Also since you have a Dell when the drive is installed you probably need to have it set up as cable select on the jumper pins on the back of the drive. If you need help to see if this is the case Dell tech support should be able to help or if your fimilar w/ the set up just check what the drive is set up as now.
