I had my xbox softmoded i have to get if fixed but i put my orignal hd back in my xbox before i took it to het fixed well i get it back thursday im wandering will my HD that i had my soft mod on boot up with no problem once i put it back in or will i have to redo my softmod i have put a lot of hours into it so please someone help me
i was messing with xbmp settings and it was skipping and in black and white but i have a 250 with unleash on it and it worked in my xbox. i had a 8 gig with evox and i let them erase that shouldnt my hd start up with unleashx when i switch my hd
i hate to sound like a dumbass but what dose that mean? my hd was unlocked and everything. so what im asking is, i know that the hd that i gave them was erased and the orignal dashbored is back on it. the 250 has unleashx on ready to go before my xboxed messed up on me it worked fine so it should do once i switch out my hd's
i just called them they said my mother bored was replaced so dose that mean i will have to start over or will i still be able to use that hd
i dunno i kind of got confused through you and all these different HD's and now there is a different motherboard...
ok this is what i can tell you i have a halo eidtion xbox and one of my hd had evox on it that was my 8 gig and the other had unleashx which was my 250 gig. well last monday my dumbass was messing with xbmp theni changed the tv setting then i restarted my xbox and it botted up ut it was in black and white and skipping so i took it to get fixed before i took it i put my 8 gig back in. i knew they where going to erase my 8 gig but i didnt expect them to change my mother bored. what im wondering is will the 250 that i had unleashx on boot up once i chang out my 8 gig or do i have to do the softmod all over again? thats it in a nutshell
i dont know why they changed the motherboard all they had to do was boot another dashboard, or find out where the video setting was and change it back to NTSC...and if they changed the motherboard then the 250 HD will not work with a new motherboard the eeprom on the HD is locked to the other motherboard... how much did they charge u too fix it?
ok check it out i got my xbox before they could fix it so first i dint pay anything thank you for that. now where do i got to fix my settings my xbox still has the softmod and everything on it. is there any kind of buttons i have to push?
well i have all the dashboards on my xbox in my apps section so no matter which one i will just record step by step how to change the video mode back to NTSC and post it in here
