ok here's the deal,I recently lost all my files on my computer word docs, pic and music basically everything. Is there a FREE software that will help me get all my lost info..my hard drive still shows that its full....I found "virtual lab recovery" once i ran this program i was able to see all lost info on my computer...the prices of memory needed to my files back are ridiculous.

can you guys please help me find a FREE software to get my files back?

    Thanks.

heres a list of the files the free photorec can recover for you.

Forgot to mention, how did you loose all your data? If your hard drive is showing up as "unallocated" it might be corrupted. A simple chkdsk x: /f can fix that (x = drive letter of drive). You can also try a scandisk (with boxes to fix errors checked). This will make you hard drive readable again, no need to use a recovery software. The free "testdisk" also has tools to rebuild the bootsector which can make the hard drive readable again.
