    Hello All,
I was wondering if anybody could deliver a link to the latest firmware for my dvdrw drive.

The official site of the product www.godigitalmax.com .. doesn't load.. I think the site is closed for good.

    - Digitalmax 16X DVD+-R/+-RW Drive
    - DVD +R Double Layer
    - Interface : ATAPI/E-De
    - Data Memory Buffer - 2MB

I don't know if any of the above helps.

I believe this is a generic drive that is sold under different brand names.

Anybody who could send me a link for a firmware update.. I would really appreciate your help. I haven't had any luck searching for one myself on google.

    Many thanks

    KR

    Hello All,

I was able to locate a firmware link for 4KUS which is apparently the same as Digitalmax.

The Firmware I got from this page : http://forum.rpc1.org/dl_firmware.php?category=4&manufactor=59

Says that mine is already a BSG3 Firmware.

    My Questions are :
    1.) What is a BSG3 firmware
2.) Is it the latest one available for my device ?

    Thanks !

the operating system should see that drive....

That is almost certainly a Lite-On SOHW-1633S. Lite-On released a firmware update for that model enabling 12x DVD-R and 4x DL I believe, but you may want to wait for DigitalMax to release their version of it.
