I bought 6 new 19' HP LCD monitors and I want to install them in each of my children bedrooms. There is not a cpu in each room yet. I have DirectTV. What type of TV turner do I need? What is the lest amount of hardware I need so they will be able to watch TV and do work on the node. thanks for any help you can offer...
ok here is what you need you are going to need 1. 4 or how ever many children you have direct tv boxes you cannot just run the monitor from one box like you can on cable sorry also this will jack up your tv bill lots so you might not want to do this yet 2.you then need a vga to tv or a vga to monitor converter this alone can run anywhere from 99.99 to 50.00 3.and of course the computers for all the other rooms
