I Bought a new Eurovox ex 5000 PRV I am having trouble trying to record a programme and watch another channel. The instruction book is very bad,the writing is very small and the pictures are very dark ,I cant read them, so I was Hopeing somone would send me a copy of the instructions. There is also some channell I dont seem to be getting Crime channel and any of the challange channels,My wife likes them. I live in Dublin maybe thats the reason. Thanks Gerry.
Have a look in Eamos at the end of my post you will see a graphical guide by Dolphin in the Eurovox folder. You can only watch and record channels on the same frequency. And yep you are right, those channels are unavailable in Dublin on cable.
Thank you for your quick responce. I still need a new set of instructions for the Eurovox ex 5000PVR as I am unable to see the the tele screen in the book as they are so dark. Also I still can only record the station that I am watching,I need to be able to record another channel. Gerry
The manuals are all the same mine is very dark also, as Sc0user has already told you, you can only watch and record channels on the same frequency, So for your area for example 394.000 has chelsea TV, Disc Sc, Disc Channel, Fashion TV, Kerrang, KISS, Magic, MTV Base, Q, Smash Hits and the box You would be able to record ONE of these channels and watch only the others listed above as they are on the same FREQS. Hope this explains it for you.
