hope this is the right form, hi iam looking for a quality printer to print labels to printable disk, can someone point me in that direction.THANKS.
i use an Epson R300, couldn't find anything to complain about if i wanted to! (though anything in the Epson R series is great)
your 1st post says print labels to printable disks so don't use labels at all. epson r200 & r300 series are good for printable disks.
THANKS FOR getting back with me ddp i should have said images instead of labels,to printable disk, anyhow iam reading there is a problem with the r300 as far as the plastic end on the disk tray that after a short while it needs replaced.iam looking to buy a disk printer here shortly and just would like to know my best shot, thanks again OKIE.
The Epson Stylus Photo R: 200/220/240/300/320/and 340 use the same disc guide tray. I've printed several hundred with no trouble. That clear plastic pc does bend down, but I can easily bend it back up. The R-240 and R-340 are the latest models at most stores. Staple's has been listing the R-340 for $139. You may even find an older model on clearance for a very cheap price. Best Buy/Office Depot/ and Office Max also have the epson R- series Dvd/cd printers. Sam's Club is another place you can get a good deal on one if you're a member. The 200 series is a basic cd/dvd printer,as well as reg printing. The R-300 series has more bells and whistles on it. Example: Card reader and Color View screen. All have basically exact same printing specs. Best of All about these epson printers: Ink prices. I can get all 6 ink carts for well under $20 a set at meritline.com. They run $55-$60 a set at most retail stores like walmart/etc. They also do very good photo prints.
iv got a r220 and not a problem. the r3xx does have more bells and whistles but if you use you pc to view/edit/store your pics before printing i dont think you will ever need/use them. i use a continus ink system, tubes from the cartridge go into a tank behind the printer which you fill with bottled ink, £1.50 for 200ml, better qual than compatables if you find good inks.
She's doing very good. Mamma giving her a bath right now and she's screaming bloody murder, LOL. She loves to watch football. The 200 series does a fantastic job. Most pcs come with card readers so the card reader on them may be unnecessary. I also wouldn't have a use for the view screen. It does turn out some fabulous pics from my digital camera, even with the generic Ink.
