Hi, At work we use a number of DVD's which have been transferred from video. The Videos were very old, and although the transfer to DVD was fine, as the original was of poor quality. I was wondering are there any software programs that would enable me to clean up the audio and video on vob files? Thanks for any help.
I don't know of anything that works directly on VOB files. You can convert the VOB's to a single MPEG2 file and use Avidemux filters on the video. Convert to mpg with Vob2mpg;note that it requires .net framework http://www.videohelp.com/tools/VOB2MPG Load/drag the mpeg file into Avidemux http://www.afterdawn.com/software/video_software/video_tools/avidemux.cfm Set the side menu and adjust using the filters. Save the new file (click on the save logo) and give the new file a name. You must give it a full name including extension, e.g newfile.mpg Avidemux doesn't do anything for the audio. You can use Audacity or some other editor to tinker with it.
