    We'll consider it. Meanwhile, our sidekick gaming project, Blasteroids.com, provides a forum for handhelds -- you can transfer your aD account to Blasteroids (within next few months we'll integrate the systems so that your aD login works immediately in both sites, but for now, go to registration and choose the transfer from aD option). Eventually, all of our console & gaming forums, specially the ones NOT related to backing up games, will get transferred to Blasteroids.

    BTW, not sure if you are affiliated with Blasteroids, but it is a really nice site.

    Just signed up last night...of course, I would think it would help if I had a console system. :)

    You talking about the site...or is there REALLY a game for that?

    Blasteroids has been sorta "on deck waiting for repair" for about a year now. It is functional, but it currently contains nothing but a gaming forum, which by itself doesn't offer enough for new users, as the forums always tend to require the "critical mass" before they take off.

    "Blasteroids v2" is scheduled for beginning of summer and it will expand the site beyond being just a forum, but will move its content to look much like aD (not same focus, but meaning that it will contain game industry news, articles, etc). Various other stuff is planned as well, but that goes under the label of "biz secrets" :)

    Focus really. AfterDawn is all about DVD recording, backing up your movies/games/CDs, P2P, etc. Blasteroids aims to be more into games industry and not from the "hey, how can be back up this game" point, but instead "hey, found this great game/console/patch/mod, I'd like to chat about it".

    sljusevi, more for reference so other people understand what is going on. if you were to go thru the different threads of different forums on this site it gets used a lot

    I have been posting alot over at Blasteroids.com, and I think that more people from AD should post over there. dRD when do you think the offical date is when Blasteroids gets out of testing and starts normal opperation?

    philipman: We expect to start working on Blasteroids' changes on next week, so hopefully we get the improved version of the site up and running by the end of May. The forum engine will be the same as in AfterDawn.com, thus removing several bugs from the one Blasteroids uses now.

    Was trying to transfer my existing user account from AD to Blasteroids but that link doesnt seem to be working right.I could just fill in the info again on Blasteroids but im a very lazzy man.
    Thought id let you know.
