After researching the various DVD rippers on the market, I was at first drawn to DVD neXt Copy Ultimate. It had good reviews and appeared to be packed with features and easy to use. The only problem I could find was that it seemed to use the same activation that the old DVD X Copy had. I'd purchased DVD X Copy several years ago and when the company went under, so did any way to install the program. So I still have the install copy, but because the company went under, there's no way to activate it. So what I'm looking for is a software package that can be installed using a key. If the program that makes it fails a year from now, I still want it to be installable and would like it to work, even if my computer wasn't hooked up to the Internet. Can anyone recommend a good program? I'd also like to take DVD sound tracks and write them to audio files. Some of the lectures I listen to are video, and I don't really need to see the guy giving the lecture. I'd like to put it on an mp3 player. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!
