I need to solder things wires together cuz im modding my PS1 controller to work on my pc for sports games. I dont know what wattage soldering gun/iron i need to get. I was thinking 100watts...but that seems pretty high. How about 15, 30, 40? Which one is the most suited for this job? Thanks!
get a weller solder station which i have at least 2 of them & have used them at different companies. can get replaceable tips that can do surface mounted components. my wellers' wattage output is 60w
