I'm needing help with a menu I'm creating....it has 18 still cells....I want the audio file to play across the cell boundries...but thus far havn't figured out how to make this happen....the 18 stills have 'forward' and 'back' buttons...linking to each other...but I want the cell to remain 'on screen'(loop) or (inf) until user chooses to go forward, back, main menu, etc...get the picture? But, i want the audio to continue thru the forward/backward trans uninterrupted and loop--like a slide-show with audio. I've been 'experimenting' with different settings but I'm thinking this is gonna take some cryptic registery setting or something.

Anyone here explain how to do this in more detail than the media_chance help page?

If I understand correctly, you have 18 still pictures in one menu divided into 18 cells.
To loop cell is no problem, just highlight the cell and click on 5th icon from left under the menu, yellow box with circling arrow will appear on the end of the cell, it will loop.
What you want to do with sound is not possible. Since you have still picture, length of the sound file will determine how long the cell will stay until loop. You have to make sound file for each cell, it can be the same one, but as soon as you switch the cell, sound will start from beginning.
It will be the same like if you have 18 menus.

Thanks, that's what I was afraid you'd say...How would you go about this? There---Should be a way...somehow to design what I'm trying to do.
This is a Actor Bio & filmography menu...18 pages of career info....some
people read faster than others...that's why I need to keep the still cell on for (inf) or (loop)..but I wanted the audio(elevator music) to just continue un-interrupted as long as they were In the menu. Reguardless of what page they were on.

There should be a way to treat the audio/ video seperately...I've seen Industral stamped DVD's with menus like this.

I do not know why do you need cells for what you do. I would use menus with audio. If you insert audio into the menu and do loop, like in cell, audio will play in loop until someone press next button to go to next menu.
But if you will do it with cell, each cell will do the same thing, stay on until button is pressed to go to next cell. Since you are using static picture, it will not change only audio will play from beginning when it loops. You can also make the audio as long as you want so the page is red before audio come to the end..
