    well i do not have most of those to be able to tell you. But i can tell you this. skip the Imation DVD's as they are cheap crap.
    get some Verbatim, Taiyo Yuden
    Macell or Sony that are Made In Japan are also good.
    No Imation or Memorex!
    San Andreas i do have and i did nothing special backing it up.

    i will try my best to search those sites, but i can only look at the US site for Staples as to shop in any area you need the zip code, or in Canada the postal code of the area you live in.
    Staples only sells 2 that are even close to quality brand and that is Sony & Maxcell. But there is no way to tell by the picture if it is the good one made in Japan, or the bad one made in Taiwan. That will have to be done at the store.

    Future Shop sells the Sony and Maxcell as well. They also sell Fuji Film which some people say is good. They sell Philips which is not the best buy has always worked for me. And they have one listing for the Verbatim, but it is only lightscribe discs which unless your burner has lightscribe would be a waste of your money. But if while in the store you can find Verbatim in a regular 8X DVD-R then i would take those first.

    DVD-R 8X are what i would get but you really are going to have to go look at the packages so you can tell where the Sony & Maxcell are made to know if they are good. And like i said the Philips may work for you too. I have used Philips 8X DVD-R for 2 years now and it works with both of my PS2's, My Xbox, and my DVD Player

    @pecl

    you also need some sort of Mod other than the Swapmagic/Coder Discs...

    Fat older PS2's you need a FLIPTOP or SLIDECARD

    Newer Slimline PS2 you need Magic Keys or Slim Tools

    to go along with the Discs

    good call tmfloria

    too many people forget to mention that part, they tell people just to get Swap Magic to play back upos and then the poor souls wonder why their games will not work.

    MAdden NFL 06 backs up fine with no rebuilding also. I bought Maxell and Sony DVD+R's @ my local Staples and both have worked great. Staples has great sales on certain good brands once in a while and like everyone else said STAY AWAY FROM MEMOREX!! I have over 50 movie backups that just dont work anymore for no reason. No scratches, no smudges just Memorex media.
