Okay Guys, I needed a new cell badly so I got the Nokia 6256i. It Looked Nice and could keep up with everything I wanted. Ive had the phone for almost four months and I LOVE it but one thing really pisses me off. The Ringtones. There is nowhere in get it now where i can get the real ringtones like the ones with the voices and everything. I tried a few websites and none work. I downloaded some of the poly's to see the formats and they are .MIDI and .AMR I tried an MP3 to AMR converter. It Converted nicely but my phone wont let me play it. I can Play MP3's but not set them as ringtones. Does anyone know what i can do>! I have bluetooth set up so I can easily transfer anything I convert. Thanks!! Oh I would of posted in the Nokia Fourms But I never Get Reply's Because of the HIGH amount of Programming and Unlocking Threads. Thanks A lot!
Hi, If I am reading this correctly get it now is provided by verizon and they do not allow u to use your own mp3s as ringtones. I have exhausted every means to do so. Will follow this thread to see if someone has come up with the solution.
