Hi, I'm having some problems trying to copy the movie Robots. I've used Decrypter, Shrink, alone and with Any Dvd. Everytime any of these programs gets half way through decrypting a message pops up saying "Dvd shrink encountered a problem and can not continue-Data Error(cyclic redundancy check)" Is this a protection problem or a disc problem? The disc seems to play allright in my dvd players. Any help is appreciated.

laystay, I don’t remember Robots having any special protection.

May just be a dirty/scratched disc Clean real good with soap/water or Glass cleaner, check for scratches. Some small scratches can be removed with Toothpaste..

    Give it a try..

2oldGeek is right although I wouldnt recommend soap/water.Try using a disc scratch remover like Disc Doctor, etc.I made a legal back-up of my Robots DVD using DVD Decrypter and DVD Shrink with no problems.
