    sorry so long

ok when i startup everything appears fine but upon closer inspection i find that my speakers dont work so i go to volume control and it says no audio devices installed so i try to get into device manger and it pops up just fine but its empty i mean no devices what so ever pop up but everything works just fine besides my audio and my desktop looks almost like safemode

ok heres how i got to this point i used msconfig to keep some unsavery stuff from booting on startup first i booted in diogonstic mode to see exactly what needed to boot the i went to selective boot and unchecked like 4 items from booting none of which were vital and upon restart i noticed the above results so i but it back to normal startup but it didnt change then i tried default boot and still no help so anyone know how to get my audio back

oh yeah when i go to add remove hardware it doesnt open and my windows update dont work
