need some help with the box

    hi every body , i have the box{starview2] dont know whats wrong with it, it works for 20 min then goes off all i see is green lines on recever , any help thanks you every 1

    Have you tried to reflash it?
    all the info you need is at the 2 links below my signature..

    i will do flash it but dont know how to do that u mean by flashing is but new software?

    If you follow the 2 blue lines under Barts Bum!! you will find
    1 an idiots guide on how to flash your box...
    2 the required downloads to make your box work, on the left you will see a link, scroll down and click "The Box", then firmware, its all there!!.. any probs give us a shout!!

    Omeed no need to apologise we were all new at this at some time or other!!
    what do you mean its still the same?
    what have you tried?
    What EXACTLY have you done so far?

    i flashed put new firmware but still the same it turn off sfter 20 min all i see is green lines on recever

    Ok I think you have a problem with the box and it needs to be Jtagged
    which unless you are technicaly minded is a hard thing to do!
    you say it stays on for 20 minutes, can you press menu then system information and tell me what it says,
    also which firmware did you flash it with?

    at the moment its off i cant turn it back on dont will be like that for how long , but i sure i put right firm ware cos i look at system information it was the 1 i need it

    after i put new firmware , it look now is permenently goes off it wont come back on :(
