    hi...
im new to the nds modding scene but i have modded my psp and xbox1. ive been looking around for a faq or some more in depth info other than the info that are in the guides listed on this site although they were helpful. after reading about the different cards to get i decided to get the m3. i have a ds lite. idont really care about the rumble pack but i would get it if it provides some otheruseful functions. ive narrowed my choices down to this:

    or this...

i like the second one a little better because of how the microsd card is loaded but i dont know. i tried looking up more info on the web about it but maybe im not looking in the right places. i just want to play some music and movies and put all my ds games on one card so im not carrying a bunch of games around with me everywhere i go. any help would be greatly appreciated.

Both are fine for a DSlite. The second one will play GBA games as well thanks to the RAM expansion it comes with, but won't work on a DSi. The rumble pack doesn't really do anything besides eat battery life. I've never used it.

They both use the same firmwares and have the same game compatibility (nearly 100%) and will play music, movies and homebrew as well. Movies of course have to be converted to a special format before they will play, but I cant really help you there because I've never tried that.
