NEED TEAM TO DOWNGRADE PSP TO AT LEAST 1.5

I tried on my PAL psp and it doesn't work. Troy give us more exact instructions. The only thing is that when i rename UPDATE to Update it starts the update but returns an error...

 

Given that the PAL version is not to be released untill Tomarrow (Sept 1st 2005), would you care to explain just how you managed to get your Hands on one so soon. I think there are some People here who'd like an answer to that! And I'm one of 'em.

Could it be that your PSP is somekind / part of a Devkit? That would probably explain it.

 

There is a shop that had it in stock like every other shop does. But this shop took a risk and released it early because the other shops would take their profit away on the 1st. It's a small shop and i barely found it. I'm from Europe btw...

we should try and copy 1.50 firmware but trick the psp that its a higher version that way it can be hacked we just need a person who can rewrite old firmware with some newer stuff the only prblem im concerned about is if the stuff that tells the psp u have a higher version is in the security

 

What i think is that someone should write there own firmware with bonuses of 1.5(emulators) and the advantages of 2.0 with no security it would be easier to do that than downgrade it wouldnt it?

 

Where is that other downgrader??????? It was supposed to be out today! Anyone know if it is out?

i have bought the australian psp release which came out on 1/09. It has firmware 1.52 and encourgaes buyers/users to update to version 2.00. Is there any way to downgrade to version 1.5?? if any one has any ideas please help.

You may as well upgrade and wait, it's as simple as that! 'Das Wonder Hack' we've been hearing the 'Newbiee' cry on so much about in here is apparently a Hox. I did manage to get on the IRC Server yesterday Afternoon (Sep 1, 2005), for about Five Minutes. Yoshi and Hiz Boyz were trearing into everyone Left and Right! Just wanting to know about the Hack. Assuming they had ever any decency they would have had such info in the Headder of there IRC channel and a Bot ready to Kick n00b's dumb enough to ask! That simple really. A whole lot freaking simpler then trying to hack a freaking PSP! But, nawghhh lets hook in as manny 'Fish' as we can and have a Flame Fest!!!

And lo. Where is there IRC Server now? irc.wab.com?? It's not up anymore! There Channel was #wab, for those who are interested. A nice scam if they were able to ripoff some of the PSP-Dev Teams Work to make there... Um.. Prior Art!

 

As hard as it sounds you should not use the disc and upgrade to v2.0 do without its features and hold on.. If the v1.52 gets hacked then you are laughing and if its the v2.0 that gets hacked first all you have to do is run the demo disc to upgrade and then enjoy the hack..... This way you have the best of both worlds !

My downgrade hack isn't working. I used the update CD and it did something to it!! It just says corrupted data!!!!!

 

What Downgrade Hack are you refering to? THERE IS NO DOWNGRADE TOOL FOR PSP v.1.51 OR HIGHER! (e.g. v.1.52 or v.2.0),.

Every Downgrade Tool I know of is either for the v1.00 or v1.50! And if you upflased your v1.50, then that's your problem!

If you have a PSP with the v1.50 Firmware: (Or below!) DO NOT UPFLASH YOUR PSP to v2.0!!! Doing so will cause you to loose all your Hacks!!!

 

I know that. Ichijoe told me to upgrade! I couldn't play homebrew on the 1.52 anyway. I tried downgradng it but i just get the corrupt data sign :-(

No what I ment was People with PSP v1.51 (or Higher) have nothing to loose by going to PSP v2.0. As there are no Hacks for anything above PSP v1.5. (i.e. v1.5x ~ v2.0 will not run Homebrew as of this moment!),. Will that change???

Well my Motto is "If a Human can make It, a Human can break It!".
It's going to take time, but someone will probably crak the v2.0 Firmware. As the Majority of Users out there that don't know jack about what the PSP can and can not do! Are probably already running v2.0

As for a 1.5x Hack? Well... Sadly I just don't see One and I ain't going to waste my time holding my Breath for one either...

 

If i modify the .SFO file in the 1.5 update eboot to look like a non-exitant 2.50, will the psp think that the it is upgrading rather than downgrading?
