I got a video off a friends camera. It has an MOV file as the video and a THM file for the sound. If I open the video in Media player it doesnt have sound. If I open it in a preview screen slide show with pictures it has sound. How do I get the sound to play with it in Windows Media player or off CDs etc? Programs? or Ideas?
I don't think a thm file is an audio track. The .mov file can probably be played using the likes of VLC.
oh ok, but why will it not play with sound in Windows Media PLayer? Thats all my computer has and What works with the system in hooking upto to play it. How do I get sound in media Player?
I haven't tried this - let us know if it works. http://www.windows-media-player-updates.com/playingmovfilesviaWMP.html
Can you play AVI files ok? Load/drag the file into AviDemux. On the left side select Video > Xvid Audio - mp3 Format - AVI Save the file with a new name (include the extension, e,g newfile.avi)
