Need To Convert A .GVI to......??

    Needin some help converting this file type (Gvi.) to a file type(.wmv,avi)so I can put the video or movie on a DVD disc..Or on my Vidoe ipod...I know how to put it on a ipod if I can get the right format or file type for it..with is m4a..Or either some other file type like a mentioned above..I just need the file to be put into a file type that I can work with...Anyone know of a converter?? or a way I can get the file type Gvi. in to a .wmv,or a avi..Or etc. Watever esle file would be suitable for it..Alright thankx so much to whoever helps me.. Appreciate it alot..Laterz

    Man I love you!!!!...You are the best..hopfully it works.Gots to try it still..But thankx for hittin me wit it..Peace..need anything just ask.Ohh one more thing..I tried the GVI converter worked like a charm..BUT....I need to put it on a dvd and the only programs I got to do that is DVD Deycrpter,DVD Shrink, And Nero Start Smart program thing..And all of them are saying they can't like do it becuase of the file type..wat program should I use to put that .avi file onto a DVD + R, Or DVD -R DVD..Can you help me on this one..??Appecreiate it alot

    You converted to an avi file, now you need to convert to video compliant files. You can use Nero Vision Express if you have it, here is a basic guide for it.

    Or you can use the trial of ConvertXtoDVD, which will leave a watermark in the DVD.

    And if your file is too big to fit onto a DVD you will then need to compress it to fit a single layer DVD, which you can do with either Nero Recode or DVD Shrink.
