Easy way is to rename the vob to mpg. works most of the time and almost every video editing program will read them when renamed but failing that open Nerovision express click "add video file" and select the vob then click at the bottom "export" and save it somewhere as an mpg file.
Ive tried this, and it never works, i use nero vision express 3 to do my mpeg converios, and cant complain
