My friend has a movie promo he made himself that is on DVD. It is a promo for a movie script he wrote and directed himself. He needs to send it to some producers to see if they will fund his project. The promo is only about 1 min 35sec but it is done in digital and good quality. Basically I need a recommendation for software I can use to encode this promo to Mpeg or AVI so I can send it via FTP to these producers. The software needs to convert and convert without distorting the quality of the promo, I am of course willing to pay for this software.
