Loads of alternatives. Here are IDEAS that you can implement:

    1. Use a USB Drive. You could even use a memory card with a usb card reader to transfer the files.

    2. a) Share your Windows directory (where the mp3 etc files are) from Windows
---b) Connect to the shared directory from the MAC to download

    3. I think the Media Server trick may also work... not sure though.
---a) Go to windows media player
---b) Select the folder where the files are
    ---c) Enable the Media server
---d) From the mac, search for media servers over the network. It should show up. You may be able to grab the media files from the server then.

I'm not sure about option 3. Perhaps someone can try it out and advise. I'm not at home, so I cannot try it out.

heres what I do.. both laptops are connected to the router then I put what i want on the windows in the shared directory. then goto finder>network> and look around there I forget the name mines called like tp30 or something and click connect its gonna bring up admin pw and soemthing like that enter it on your mac and you will see a SHAREDOCS icon on her desktop.. double click that and drag what she wants onto teh mac desktop or whereever.. thats what works for me at least ;)
