Just received a new Dell 531 with Vista Home Premium and my old Linksys card (Model WMP 11 V 2.7) won't work with the new OS. Therefore I am in the market for a new card. Can anyone recommend a PCI card that will work with my current wireless Embarq DSL set up?
i got one of those linksys wireless 802.11g routers and i have wonderful results with the dynex (best buy generic) $40 one's on my vista home premium box. also have u reinstalled the drivers on the vista one, perhaps in compatibility mode.
unfortunately the most recent drivers released for the current card are from 2002, before Vista's release. The tech support on the phone told me this was the final driver they would release, and that my current card is out of warrenty. Bottom line, I have to purchase a new card.
