Need Xbox Softmodding help

    well i have been following http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/311710!

    it has worked on my xbox fine but on my mates after loading the Splinter Cell softmod save the led goes red (like mine did) but it then give the disc read error even tho its total clean and i have tryed my drive in it to :( ! any ideas cheers
